Looks great!
Not sure about the functionality of the search, however. I tried searching 'ball valve' and the first returns were all ball lock kegs systems, then 2 piece ball valves and Blichmann ball valves, kegs, etc. Your non-branded 3 piece valves did not come up in the first page of the search. I can get to them easily by just going to the drop down ball valve listing, but odd that the search didn't bring them up. Possible wider issue?

Re: New Website!!
I think it's because the search function doens't look at titles. It searches the shirt description then the long description but not the title. I'm working on it but it's not intuitive.jason.loxton wrote:Looks great!

EDIT: Just fixed it. it should work better now.

Also, I don't see the option to have grains crushed when ordering a kit!

This looks super slick

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Re: New Website!!
One more bit of constructive criticism: For some reason the belgian wit kit gives two hefeweizen options for yeast but not WLP400 - the belgian wit yeast.

Ok, that's fixed. One of many many little things that needed (and still need) to get doneMitchK wrote:One more bit of constructive criticism: For some reason the belgian wit kit gives two hefeweizen options for yeast but not WLP400 - the belgian wit yeast.

Re: New Website!!
Maybe I'm just nitpicky, but the black Montserrat font used on pages like the about page seems to contrast harshly with the grey Source Sans Pro on pages like the deal of the day page.
Personal preference is the latter ... but maybe I'm just all around crazy.
Neat update.

Re: New Website!!
Another small edit suggestion:
Under your 5l flask it says to see related products for the 12.5 stopper, and then under related products there is no stopper.
And as a general wishlist item I'd like to see you start stocking foam (air permeable) stoppers for the flasks - they make them for lab purposes. They allow oxygen in, co2 out, and stop bacteria, all while being able to sanitize them while boiling (or even sterilize them in a pressure cooker/autoclave)
Also might want to note on your page for northern brewer hops that they are generally regarded as THE hop for California Common - might help you move some of those despite them not being a "hip" hop for all the mega triple intergalactic empire pale ales kids are drinking these days. California Common seems to be gaining ground as one of those "interesting enough for homebrewers to want to make, but accessible enough for their macro drinking in-laws to actually drink" styles that we all have to make sometimes.

Re: New Website!!
I'll pass that along to the designer (I'm actually paying someone thins time so that's not me being a ass!, I'll actually let him know).Lykathia wrote:Maybe I'm just nitpicky, but the black Montserrat font used on pages like the about page seems to contrast harshly with the grey Source Sans Pro on pages like the deal of the day page.

Re: New Website!!
I have to clean up the language in some products. The related products you see are no longer selectable, the script pulls random ones from the same category. The easiest solution is to remove that verbiage from the product pages.MitchK wrote:Under your 5l flask it says to see related products for the 12.5 stopper, and then under related products there is no stopper.
I know exactly which ones you're talking about, used them for years in my previous career. I'll add it to the list of things to bring in (just have to find them at a good price).MitchK wrote:And as a general wishlist item I'd like to see you start stocking foam (air permeable) stoppers for the flasks
Noted, I'll do that, I have a lot of NB this year, and I mean a lot!MitchK wrote:Also might want to note on your page for northern brewer hops that they are generally regarded as THE hop for California Common - might help you move some of those despite them not being a "hip" hop

Not a big deal, just a observations but I find the sort and search looks a bit strange, as if it's missing padding.

Re: New Website!!
Yup, that's on the list. And that list is about 15 items long right now. Hopefully I'll get everything done for the weekend.Andre wrote:Not a big deal, just a observations but I find the sort and search looks a bit strange, as if it's missing padding.

Re: New Website!!
New site looks great, and it's pretty easy to navigate too. One thing I noticed is that there is no way to indicate whether or not we'd like grains crushed for recipe kits.

Moving forward all kits will come crushed. But I need to add that verbiage to the kit pages.Halicat wrote:New site looks great, and it's pretty easy to navigate too. One thing I noticed is that there is no way to indicate whether or not we'd like grains crushed for recipe kits.
