Sounds like it has quite a bit of promise! I like the general idea, and it could likely be improved on slightly. I'd rather use a stainless pot for the second vessel, and I would think (but maybe it doesn't matter?) that it'd be better to have some sort of manifold in the bucket so that the recirculated wort would go through more of the grains (and not just at one spot). Does this matter?
I'm trying to decide what sort of configuration my electric brewery is going to take on.. want to do 10 gallon batches with simple equipment (simple PID, that little brewpump, etc).
