I recently bought a Danby bar fridge off Kijiji, it looked brandnew. (Not a dent or scratch on it.) Not to long after that I picked up two corny kegs and placed my order with OBK. (Dual tower with Perlick 650SS taps, CO2 regulator and manifold, all the beer and air lines and the connectors for the kegs) Just need the CO2 tank and a couple new batches of beer and I am all set!

I am going to start the build this weekend, I will try to take as many pictures of build and post them once I am done. I am honestly like a kid at christmas right now.

I trimmed up the plastitc where the shelves mount in the bottom of the fridge for the crisper. I am going to cover that over with white ducktape.

I have some pictures of the work so far, but I will put it all together once its done.

Well the build is mostly done, over the weekend I drilled through the top to create the hole for the beer lines to run down from the taps.
I also used two pieces of 1/2 inch diamater copper pipe to act as cooling sleeves for the beer lines. The ends of these pipes were a little rough, so I used some Ducktape to cover the ends and make it smoother so I didn't damage the beer line. These pieces of pipe are 2ft in length, they go up into the tower approximately 8-9 inches and the remainder sticks down into the fridge. My hope is that these pipes will act as a cooling sleeve and make my pours less foamy. I secured them in the tower with a piece of 1inch foam pipe insulation and this provided enough strength to keep the pipe from sliding down into the fridge.

The whole in the top of the fidge is a 2inch diamater, so its not the full size of the opening for the tower. I was able to cut through the plastic top, the metal and insulation with no real issue. I then used Ducktape to cover the insulation and metal opening and make it as sealed as possiable. Its not the prettiest, but its covered by the collar of the tower and on the inside no one will ever see it unless they contort themselves to look at the opening. I also grabbed a piece of scrap 1/4 inch plywood and drilled a hole in it for support for the tower to mount to.
The inside of the door was removed, since it will only be two kegs and a 5lb Co2 tank in there. Once I removed the beverage dispenser that was on the inner door, all that was there was the foam insulation. I bought some corragated plastic to put in place of the inner panel that I removed. *same plastic as election signs*

Only thing left is putting the keg connectors on the beer lines and connecting all the air lines and connectors. (Small amount of work to do those things)

The only issue I have with this is that the tower has a slight gap between top of the fridge and the collar of the tower. I will seal this with calking and have a drip tray to cover this but it still bugs me a bit.

All in all I am pretty impressed with how it turned out, now the big rush is to get the beer into the kegs!
