Alternative to Raspberry Pi

I was reading this article on a new mini-computer thats similar to the Raspberry Pi and thought some of you may be interested, especially if you were planning to build a fermenter, temperature monitor or similar project for your brewing:

It's called the BeagleBone Black.

It's a few dollars more than the Pi, but includes a power cable, provides more inputs and outputs for connecting sensors and devices needed to build electronics projects and has more I/O capability than an Arduino Uno.

Cool, I have one of the older Beagle Boards, a few years old. I was thinking of using it for something.
