Hey guys,
I bought a drink dispenser as part of a package with a bunch of kegs and a CO2 tank. I cleaned it up a bit and have set it up in my living room: http://imgur.com/a/5ryXs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The beer runs through coils in the body which is filled with water and filled with a condenser. When I plug the thing in, the fan can be quite loud and doesn't cut out. Also, I think the water may be freezing solid (at least that's what I think the popping is...) Does anyone have any experience with these dispensers and know anything about fixing them up?
It would be fine for a basement / shed (which I don't have), but it's a bit too loud for a living room...

Re: Cornelius drink dispenser
Yea, the water needs to freeze you need the block of ice. In the other style the cold plate is in the ice dispenser.
I don't know a ton about them, but I looked into it quite a bit as I wanted to gear one up. My problem was I couldn't find anywhere to source the syrup (yours appears to be post-mix, which I wasn't interested in but it is simpler)
