Basement Bar Build

So I plan to put this into the DIY section when I am done but I need some help first ...
SO
I purchased the 4 tap tower GAM(Sandy) had posted:
Two questions I need help with.
FIRST is that this tower didn't come with the threaded bottom pieces, to attach the tower to the base.
I have reached out to the manufacturer and they say they are special European threaded and are 75bucks a piece. I need two.
Here is a pic of what I am talking about. Anyone have any DIY ideas?
SECOND is the bar top. I have been back on forth as to what to do with this bar top. On one hand I may stain, add photos and then pour on some thick epoxy to get the glass like look, saw videos on YT seemed pretty straight forward.
HOWEVER last night I was watching Moonshiners and they were building a still, made it out of thin stainless hammered to wood. Thought maybe I could just get a sheet of thin stainless and wrap the top with it. Know what I mean?
Here is the bar top, FYI the old keezer will be "inside" the bar to drive liquid to the taps. The entire bar top will swing up to access.

For that threaded piece, I thought they were all standard pipe thread, but I guess not. Maybe a piece of wood or teflon cut slightly undersize and then threaded onto that post. I can grab you a panel nut to see if it might actually work. Another option would be a drilled and split piece of lumber screwed tight to the threads and then screwed to the top from underneath.

yeah, that could be an angle to look at
I've got european towers at home. give me the diameter and if I have the same size, I'll see if I can find something for you. I know for a fact that one of my towers uses standard 2" pipe thread.

First, how is building a bar "Off-topic"?
A plumber would certainly be able to tell you how "special" the threading is, but I expect by "special" they really mean "metric". If your plumber can even just identify the exact size, you could probably order it online and have it shipped, even from Europe, for less than you're being quoted.
SECOND is the bar top. I have been back on forth as to what to do with this bar top. On one hand I may stain, add photos and then pour on some thick epoxy to get the glass like look, saw videos on YT seemed pretty straight forward.
Hammering metal into any form that looks good is called "art". Straight forward, maybe ... with 20 years of practice. Epoxy, otoh, is something even I can do. I guess it depends how artistic you are!

The threads are probably BSP (British standard pipe) thread and not NPT, our pipe thread, I bet McMaster Carr could supply nuts for you. If not, try ebay.co.uk, there might be some there.

I wondered where to put this topic? lol
I was thinking re the stainless, if I bought it and had the bends put in, the 90 degree ones i need to cover my edge.
I could just screw in the stainless
then that edge would be covered with trim or something.
So all the hard work would be done?
I dont know this is jsut an idea and maybe the wrong one.

you'd need a thread gauge to see if they line-up with the gauge.

Looks like I spoke to soon.
What a run around.
These guys now want to charge me for a service call plus the parts, which still puts me all the way back up to a fucking hundred dollars for two fucking nuts.

Couldn't you replace that 2" BSP piece with a 2" NPT nipple and NPT nut(s)?
