I got the 1/2"x1/2" fittings from Purity Stainless in Dartmouth (Woodside).

$9/fitting Tax in.

Derek has worked with Nash, Propeller, Garrison and lots of wineries.

They can source parts and cut and fabricate as needed.

It cost about a dollar more than ordering and no shipping.

If you need stainless parts and dont have a guy with a scrap yard call them and ask. 468-5598 tell them your a BrewNoser.

I had him make some bevel seat to Tri-clamp adapters for me. He can make or get anything stainless, just a little eccentric!

Sandy.. what fittings did you get made? I feel like I have a case of the stupids for not getting it. Perhaps the 1/2" barb?

The MPT valve Teflon fits the pump. the .5-.5 out of the valve will go to hose. Or something like that.

Why did you put a valve on each side of the pump? Typically you want to restrict the outflow of the pump, not the inflow.

The BPT andMPT fittings did not work well but the valves did. I don't know why.

Unless you are trying to do a pump characteristic study or make the pump cavitate. :rockin:
