Interesting. Though, with the way my hops ate growing, I think they're getting plenty of water.

I plan on hooking up a drip irrigation system to a raised rain barrel. Collecting the water naturally just seems to make more sense as I am lazy and don't want to have to carry water (or a hose) to fill the reservoir, and rain water is typically better for the plants then chemically treated municipal water.
