Control panel parts source

Post by know1 » Wed Apr 03, 2019 8:48 am

Hey electric brewing control panel builders, any tips on sourcing control panel parts? I’m thinking amazon is looking best for most parts but wanted to check with those who already ventured down that path. I’m planning a wired panel with a raspberry pi Instead of PIDs. Basically a Kal/hosehead hybrid.
Kegged: El Dorado IPA, Rocketfuel 2.0, Wet Hopped Pale, Ryrish Red, Marzen, BN Exchange Dunkel, BN Exchange NEIPA, Lies Lies Lies - Citra <0.5% ale
Fermenting: NZ Pilsner with Enigma, Strawberry brett cider

Amazon is definitely your best bet for the most inexpensive parts. I got a few switches in Burnside when I forgot to order a 3 position switch and didn't want to wait another month to get it all together and brewing. Good luck!

Auberins.com for sensors, etc. You can get them cheaper on ebay/amazon but quality is lower.
