There are a few guys on here with accounts that can buy from them - we do a group buy from there every now & then.misterdalliard wrote:Don't waste your time with McMaster-Carr, they won't ship to Canada. Even if you call them and they promise you the moon, they'll send you an e-mail once you order saying "export regulations are too strict, blah blah blah, please piss off". They do ship to larger companies, welding shops often order through them (if you know any welders).

Yeah, just no new accounts. They still ship to grandfathered accounts, business or personal.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

What's the latest on this?
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Sanke thread
Brian I shaved a 2" silicon gasket for yours. I used it to test the weld. I tye wrapped it to the keg for ya.
As for blanks, I can make some with a hole saw and a grinder. Weld the drilled hole over.
For the gaskets
Check out http://www.brewerygaskets.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Or I could sell a few for a $1 a piece.

Allan has my parts. I just need to meet up with him.
Anyone interested in taking a look at what it looks like let me know.
HP I would go for 2 for those gaskets and another blank.
