Copper sheet for backsplash

Gents,
I'd like to install a sheet of copper under my 30 inch vent hood; it can be anywhere from 30 inches x 30 inches to bigger in size.

Any ideas as to where to get something like this?

I would guess any place that sells sheet metal... like Kerr Controls for example, although they would be wholesale and only sell by the sheet. Be ready do dish out the clams for it though, it isn't cheap.
last time I used that stuff was 30 years ago to make some kettles with

Maybe metals r us in Burnside, don't know if they sell copper sheeting or not, but they sell prefer much everything else ate better prices than Russell metals and you don't need an account or anything

As an update,
I managed to get 4x8 sheets of polished stainless for 60$ a pop from tri province here in Moncton. They are 24 gauge sheets, so pretty thin, but otherwise perfect for covering a wall.
