So I got a can of brew canada canadian blonde and almost 1kg of dextrose and wanted to make up the rest of the fermentable sugar with something like honey or maple syrup. What do you guys think? The kit calls for 1 kg of dextrose and I dont want to drive all the way into town!!!!!!

how short are you on dextrose? you say almost 1kg? Id say go maple syrup how much more of a canadian blonde beer can you make. Thats just me though, I love maple. Not sure how accurate it is, but according to an article in BYO, you need to take the amount of sugar needed, they use 99grams in the example, and divide by 0.66 to get the weight of syrup needed

Yeah so 1 kg equals out to be like 4 cups id say I got 3 cups of dextrose so I need to fill that rest of sugar
