This brew day was a real fucker, and I think it shows in the final product. I fear that this attempt will only serve to teach some people what certain flaws taste like. I can think of two areas where I went wrong, but I'll leave it for people to chime in on and we can compare notes tomorrow.
You won't offend me if you dump it before finishing.
CREAM ALE
5 GALS
2kg 2 Row
2kg Pilsner
1kg Vienna
20g Northern Brewer @ 60 min
10g Northern Brewer @ 0 min
US-05 yeast
Fermented for three weeks, then kegged and force carbed for three days at 30 PSI, purged and bottled from the keg. [This is my usual procedure, and this is the first time I've had problems with carbonation]

Cream ale isn't usually my style, but this is quite good. Certainly better than anything the NSLC is going to sell me in that style. I could see having a few of these on a hot summer's day. Thanks!

Sadly, there was a lot wrong with this. Zero carbonation. Weird blue-gray colour in the glass. Dunno what that was all about. Odd aromas I couldn't identify. Equally odd taste. I don't know if it was infected or not, but the colour had me err on the side of caution and dump it.

Hmm. Mine had some carb issues, but not undrinkable. Now that I look at it in good light, the color is a little odd. Didn't get any off aromas, but there is a tinge of something in the aftertaste…

I had a weird candy like flavour. Other than that...

Mine was carbed pretty well although the bottle was noticeably underfilled. Getting that odd taste as well. From personal past experience it might be a mild infection and some malt sweetness not balanced by the bittering hops. Not undrinkable but room for improvement for sure.

Drank mine last night. Pretty tastey cream ale. No issues with infection or anything. Nice clear, clean.

Mine was actually quite tasty (though definitely not to style). It was lightly carbed, straw-coloured, light bodied, aroma of fruit, and a slight sour tang. Kinda reminded me of a saison. Like I said, it was actually quite good!

Here are a few notes: Lots of carbonation. There is a slight cloudiness to it. As it warms up I'm getting a sweet maltiness, a bit of plastic phenolic character in the nose along with some esters. Persistent head. Malt character is a bit sweet but there is a nice sort of toastiness in there. There are noticeable amount of fruity esters, maybe bit too high for this style. The finish is a bit under-attenuated and worty. The bitterness is about right for the style. Despite the over analysis, this is still a very drinkable beer. I agree with the Crunch, it would make a fine lawnmower beer.

Late to the party, but...
Low carb but that's good by me, Odd colour, pinkish. Not a deep shade but there. Very mild flavours with almost no hops.
No off flavors and as Aaron said I could have many on a hot day.

Coincidentally I drank this last night too. Mine had no carb and has a sweetness that was odd. Nothing offensive, but definitely a fruitiness.
