Hey Guys,
I had a lot of "leftovers" from this year of brewing and made a "Kitchen Sink" Winter Warmer.... (last brew till spring)
I'm new a recipe making so don't laugh!
Looked at lots of winter warmers and pieced the following together with leftovers from the year...
2lb Vienna
1.5lb oats
12oz crystal 40
.5lb special roast
6oz chocolate
4lb golden light dme
1lb sparkling amber dme
3.3lb sparkling amber lme
2oz Amarillo @60
.75 of nugget and northern brewer at 15
.75 of nugget and northern brewer at 5
1lb of dried tart cherries (stewed 1hr strained and added)
Been fermenting for a couple days now.
Looks like it will come in around 9.2%.
I was considering adding something to the primary around day 7... cocoa nibs, coffee or maybe some spice (but not like an Xmas beer)
Any suggestions? Maybe I should just leave it as is??
Thanks
Todd
