I cracked open a bottle today early for quality control - don't be fooled by some coconut particles floating at the neck, it's not infected lol. That being said, the coconut has definitely faded since I last tried a bottle :(

Enjoying this right now. I like how the coconut works with the porter base. Almost like a Bounty bar.

Great job Mike!

I am not a fan of coconut at all. I am not going to lie, I was dreading this from day 1. I also had to check here first as the floating coconut made it look infected somehow. Thanks for pointing out that it was how it should be.

Well executed, I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. When I got to the bottom I wished there was more. Thanks!

I wouldn't say that's how it should be - I had some difficulty in keeping the coconut out of the final product. I'll try something different next time.. This time I learned that cold crashing shredded coconut flakes doesn't work lol :D

Finally got to this one last night. It was a very well done beer. I thought the body was perfect (I find that a lot of porters suffer from too little mouthfeel) and the balance was there too. However, as predicted I couldn't get past the coconut. So while it was definitely a very well brewed beer, it wasn't my cup of tea.

Thanks Mike!

In contrast to Dave, I thought it couldve used more coconut! Just had it on tuesday, quite enjoyed it.
