Really looking forward to this one. Love the flavour that the Roselare blend produces.

Very excited to taste all those beers in the calendar. Bottled this on Saturday, tasted very good imho. Maybe a bit too much chocolate malt, but it has some nice funk/sourness from the roselare blend. Brewing up another batch on Wednesday, this time without the amber and chocolate and pitching the dregs from the first version.

Drinking this right now and really enjoying it. This is one of my favourite styles and I've yet to brew one. Hoping to get on the Flanders train this year.

Never tried one of these before but I'm digging it. Can't see myself being interested in brewing sours of any kind based on my experiences with them, but this is great

First night I didn't drink the beer on the proper day. This one sounds awesome. Was out at a party but back drinking martinis with my wife (it's our anniversary at midnight too) and I wouldn't do it justice. She's putting Max to bed. Why do I feel guilty? I promise I'll drink it tomorrow ...if only to cure a hangover. This Advent has been a fantastic event for us (Brewnosers) and has furthered brewing in the maritimes to no end.

Next time we should expand it with shipping to include our Newfoundland brodders (Max refers to his brother as "my brodder") and sisters (he doesn't have a sister so I don't know the proper terminology for that).

Very nice, the funky character is somewhat restrained but its complex and interacts nicely with the malt. I like the chocolate character in this one. There is just a bit of tartness but in the right range. I'm getting a hint of diacetyl which is ok for the style and adds complexity.

Cheers, this calender finished on quite a high note!

Enjoyed this with our take our Chinese take out last night. Really great beer. Not as sour as I was expecting but still tasty.

I enjoyed this beer as well. I'm not someone who is into the sour beer as much as others but they are slowly growing on me. I really enjoyed the small amount in this along with the darker malts. Good job and thanks!!

Even though I have a cold, this seems full of flavour and is smooth drinking. A special beer.

Thanks Jon,

Unless it's getting muled I'm not paying for shipping. It was tough enough to get everything ready and to Halifax from this area on time let alone to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Drinking one of mine right now, the tartness has definitely increased since I tasted it last time. Will save my last bottle.for comparison with batch 2.0 of this beer.
