Help me build a recipe for a Belgian Strong Ale
Would 1388 be appropriate for a dark belgian? Hallertau + Saaz?

I don't know much about this style other than the Three Pistols clones I did. But I used that wacky Unibroue yeast. 1388 sounds fine to me. Do you have any of the D2 candi sugar on the group order? A BDSA just screams out for that stuff.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
