Hopefully the last brew with my plastic MLT. Basically the BCS recipe.

Interesting recipe, it seem like the pils and carapils amounts are flipped from what I'd expect to see though I've never made a lager myself. Is there a reason for that?

I don't think you could make a beer out of only carapils, or even a high percentage. IIRC it is highly unfermentable.

You're right, d'oh. Fixed. Glad somebody reads this stuff. Obviously, I didn't weigh those grains out like that.

A bit high on the OG (hydrometer was 1.060)

Kegged and bottled this one up yesterday. Finished at 80% AA, a bit higher than the 70% I was looking for. Tastes pretty good though.

Well, it's been a long time since those carboys were in the snow, and although I did bottle and drink a few, this is the first keg to be tapped. Still tasting great, although the head has been disappearing quickly. Might be that I need to clean my lines after kicking the last keg...
