This had a beautiful bready malt aroma that came crawling out of the bottle when I opened it. I think that grain bill is an absolute winner. I found the finish a little odd and definitely not lager-like, but that was explained when I saw the kveik yeast in the recipe. Thanks for the share.

I love this brew, malty and delicious, little fruity . If it had a little more bitterness, I'd think it was an Altbier. I would like to have a keg next time you are passing through. Thanks for participating this year Josh!

Very sweet with a bready fruitiness. More viscous than I expected. Also, perhaps unique to my taste buds, Vienna malt comes across with a slight tartness/sourness.

That is most likely the ph drop that Kveik tends to bring to the table. I used voss exclusively for a whole summer and noticed every beer had a slight twang to it. Apparently Kveik will drop the final ph of a beer a little more than your typical yeast.

Had this one at the end of a tasting of a bunch of others and I really appreciated the tang from the Kveik. Felt like it added to the freshness and complimented all the dark maltyness.
