I was really looking forward to trying this. Right off the get go I could smell the coffee beans and it followed through on the palette. Carbonation stayed right through to the end. Very smooth beer. Thanks for sharing! 🍻

What is this trickery ? A roasty chocolate blonde-ish beer ? Kind of oxymoronic , This is my first white stout so it threw me off big time. I didn't know what to expect , but it checked all of the boxes. Roasty , chocolate, thought I got some vanilla, mabey it was the lactose. Great carbonation and head retention. Great job Cat !
Kegged - Cold IPA, NEIPA, Fieldberry Wheat, Dark Abbey Ale, Apple Pear Cider, American Lager, American Stout, Belgian Wit

This was also my first introduction to a white stout. Full bodied with rich flavours of dark chocolate and coffee, and maybe some floral notes from the Hallertau. I did not find it roasty at all. Very enjoyable!

Not as roasty as some other examples I’ve had. Had to look at the recipe to try to figure out where the fruity thing I was getting was coming from: most likely the coffee, maybe with some help from the vanilla and lactose. Definitely an interesting beer; thanks for the share!

Fascinating beer. Also my first introductiom to the style. The implementation of the coffee and the cocoa nibs was perfect. Image

I wonder if maybe there was something wrong with mine. All I got from it was ashtray - both aroma and flavour. Two sips was all I could muster. :(
