Very low to no carb on this bottle but that did not hurt anything IMO. At first pour, I loved the aroma coming off. Than it hit my lips and the flavours and mouthfeel made it hard to not chug it down.
Really enjoyed this and really glad I don’t have any more in the fridge for a Monday cause Tuesday might have been a sick day lol
Well done! Cheers!

Couldn't wait to get into this brew.Mine had a 2 finger head ,with lots of bubble rising to the surface. . This beer would be Boxing Rock's Vicars Cross if Chuck Norris was the head brewer there. Warming alcohol, but not hot. Followed by a carmel malt backbone, ending with a little bitterness. Please tell me you have this on tap , if so I'm coming over to make some bad decisions

Best review ever.
PS - I'm rousing the yeast and keeping it warm until I drink it, no way I'm tackling this tonight.

And huge apology to all, apparently the residual yeast doesn’t like a 10.5% alcohol environment to fart out some CO2 bubbles FFS.
Let’s just call it a simulated cask beer, (wink wink nudge nudge)

Nice aroma! I'm not good at matching flavours so I'm not sure how I'd describe it. Maybe Caramel Apple? Anyway, it tastes even better. The alcohol presence is there, but not overly so.
On tap Czech Amber Lager, Tropical Punch NEIPA
Bottled Belgian Tripel, Belgian Dark Strong, Dunkelweizen, Raspberry Saison, Chocolate Porter
Fermenting Wild Thing Saison, Pseudo Lager
Next up ?

I think you nailed the issue, just a large beer and not enough yeast for sugar to eat. It didn't really matter IMO, it love this beer coming from a guy that isn't huge into IPA's anymore. I can assure it tastes even better on keg
Kegged: Maritime Fog (NEIPA), All Ryell'ed Up (Rye APA)
Fermenting: Seltzer Water
On deck: Something over the Holidays

Sadly, yeah, mine was near dead flat. The bitterness was top notch. There's something weird in the aroma that I can't quite place. Butterscotch, maybe? My partner said it reminded her of rotten apples. Still drank the whole thing.

Really surprised how easy this went down while still being 10.5%. Great aroma and taste. This one would be very dangerous to have a keg of. Cheers!

Unfortunately ours was dead flat (crown cap on screw top, it didn’t feel like a good seal) and, alas, extremely oxidized. Sounds like others had better luck!

Mine was about as flat as I've ever seen, but the beer was so good that I still enjoyed it, well done!
I just read through the comments and the one that mentioned Viccar's resonated me also.

Re: December 6 2021 - Sanitize from the Inside Triple IPA
Just getting around to posting some of the notes I made for the brews I had last week and sitting down tonight for another round.
Could almost smell the bitterness. Was nice to have a beer this bitter as it’s been a while. For 10% the alcohol presence is actually quite smooth and adds to the beer. If this was submitted as an American Barley wine would make more sense. Wrong type of bottle so most of the carbonation was lost through the leaking cap but didn’t really detract from the beer if anything the opposite situation of over carbed would have really made the beer overpowering. A simpler malt bill would have let the hops shine through a little but again brings it into Barley Wine realm. I think if you went with two hop varietals they would have been more complimentary as there’s some great hops in there and a lot is lost. Yet again why I think this is more comfortably in the Barley Wine than a Tripel IPA.
Enjoyed it to the last drop. Thank you!

Mine was also flat and pretty oxidized. The few sips I had suggested it had plenty of bitterness and some nice hop flavor. C’est la vie!

Carb was only really semi-present (like me at work most days lately), but aside from that no complaints... just got my Decembeer beer in Moncton yesterday (thanks again to Jeff!) and I decided to go big for my first selection. Great bitterness, lovely aroma.

Chuck Norris references set aside, ....i was going to compare this to a ninja punch to the whatever-part-of-the-tongue-glands taste IBU's. a tad sweet, made me drink this faster than i should have. I have 'backspaced' corrections a few times typing this to avoid slurry blog posting. *hic!*. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this one!
