Other Comments:
This is a re-brew of a beer we shared a couple of years ago that turned out to be an epic fail. At the time we were stumped because this recipe has been in our regular rotation for a long time and it always turned out great, except for that exchange! Luckily, I think we've managed some redemption this go around.
The original inspiration for the beer was Entangled from Driftwood brewing:
https://driftwoodbeer.com/beers/entangled-hopfenweisse/

Named after our new kitten, Piper, the image above was the label Darci designed but we failed to get it printed in time.

I opened this and went to get a glass and the hop aroma crept out of the bottle to meet me; always a great sign when that happens. This scanned as an IPA but there was something on the aroma and back end that I couldn’t place, and reading the recipe it makes sense: wheat and yeast character.

A lovely and well made beer that really hit the spot for me hops-wise. Love the label too. Thanks!

This is my first introduction to this style and I like it! The traditional hefeweizen backbone of banana and clove is there and the hops add a strong citrus presence. Great carbonation!

I'm a big fan of Beau Brewing's hopfenweisse (Wag the Wolf) and I haven't really seen other places do one, so I was excited for this one and it didn't disappoint.

This thing screams balance and thanks for the big bottle, well done!

Not usually a huge fan of this style, but it was great. Lovely hop profile in aroma and taste - also initially thought it was an IPA, but checked the recipe afterwards and it made sense. Look at that head! Image

Thanks for the kind words, folks. We've tried a couple of our spare bottles and, while I think it's still pretty good, it just doesn't taste the same as it does when we have it on tap - think fruitier and less bitter. Anyway, glad you've enjoyed :)
