At first I was thinking this was some sort of bock. :)

A really great beer that I downed far too quickly.

Well-controlled smoke presence means this is a smoked beer that I could easily drink a bunch of, which is a rarity. I personally might have put a bit more hops to this, but it’s totally tasty as it is. Thanks!

Played a bit of catch up yesterday. Not usually a fan of smoke in a beer, initially this one was no exception. However after it sat for a little bit and warmed the flavours ended up coming out. In the end, after finishing the glass I was thinking that I would not have minded to have another. Thanks!

Not really a huge fan of smoked beers, but I did think that this one was well made. Cheers!

Well made tasty brown with soft, subtle smoke that complimented the malt.

Thanks Adam!

Well-made... loves me some smoky beers, but they can be a little overwhelming; this one was really smooth and the smokiness was quite approachable. Gonna take a closer look at this recipe - I've only brewed two smoky beers and this was better than both of them, so maybe I'll get some ideas.

Thanks for the beer.Image

I thought this was a very well balanced beer, just enough smoke to be present, but not overpowering. The malt also shined though, with just enough sweetness if I remember correctly (drank it a few nights ago).

Thanks for sharing!

I loooove smokey beers. Can't add anything else, other than my thanks for a tasty beer.
