Due to scheduling issues, I ended up having mine last night. I really liked it, I thought the peppery phenolics mixed well with the late hops. I think the centennial were a good choice; I don't think it would have worked as well with something more citrusy.

I don't have anything salient to add that hasn't already been said, but I quite enjoyed this. I'm not overly familiar with the style, but I like the way the hops tame the estery yeast. Thanks for sharing Peter.

This is the beauty of being behins with the calendar, I get to have a few tonight to catch up. This is a nice beer with a big alcohol taste on the back end, which i like.

guess i forgot to comment on this - had this one on sunday i think, really enjoyed it.

Must be something off with the Vienna malt we had in at Noble Grape at the time. Also made an IPA with some Vienna and that is also darker than it should have been.
