Honey Porter
Thinking of using honey for something maybe a porter. I think the gravity will be high in the 1085 range. I came across a recipe that added 2 lbs of honey with 10 minutes left in boil. I'm thinking there would little or no honey flavour left? Would it be better to add half in the boil and half in secondary? Thanks.

Re: Honey Porter
I'd put it all in the secondary. I really need to consolidate all the honey threads, lol.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Ha, I did do a search for honey and there were 17 pages of results - I got lazy.
