Columbus Oatmeal Pale Ale

91% Pale Ale 5kg
9% Toasted Oats* 0.5kg

Mashed 152 F for about 2 hours with 6.9 L water.
Sparged with 11 L of water

FWH 20.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (13.8 IBU)
60 min 10.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (10.4 IBU)
30 min 10.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (8.0 IBU)
20 min 10.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (6.3 IBU)
10 min 10.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (3.8 IBU)
5 min 20.0 g Columbus leaf 12.6% AA (8.0 IBU)
dry hop 30.0 g Columbus pellet 12.9% AA for about a week

US-05 yeast

*Steel cut oats roasted 325 F for 30 mins. Turned at 15mins.

I made the oats into a porridge per package instruction before adding to the mash.

It's no good... He forced me to drink some... He used some form of mind control though cause I ended up asking for more...

Probably not clear from above but I top up my fementer. It think this was about a 17-18L sized batch.
