Oh, ye of little imagination.
Saranac - Matt Brewing Company - Pomegranate Wheat
Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat
And the Michelob comes in Pomegranate-Raspberry.

I don't know why this should all seem so strange/disgusting to me. I love the Belgian fruit beers, and I've even made my own Chili beer [tip: do NOT put whole hot peppers in beer bottles]
Hey Derek, what Chili beer recipe did you use.

This recipe below was in "The Complete Homebrew Beer Book" by George Hummel... thing is it's an extract receipe.

1 pack Wyeast 1056 or Fermentis S-05
1 lb Carafoam, Carapils or dextrin malt
5.5 US gal brewing water
6.6 lbs any brand extra light malt extract, divided in half
2 to 4 AAUs Mt Hood or Liberty hops for bittering
4 to 6 fresh whole jalapenos (chopped and placed in straining bag
1 tsp Irish Moss
1 tsp Yeast Nutrient
No Aroma hops in this receipe

Anyone have any suggestions about what I can use to replace the malt extract? I was thinking of subbing in 10 lbs of the Canada Malt pale ale ? Also, any other suggestions to pick it up a bit welcome... I was thinking about making it for Superbowl... thx.

Larry.

You can use Beersmith to do the conversion from extract for you, and your malt sounds fine. But it's probably easier to start from scratch with your estimated efficiency and desired OG.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
