I think the proof is in the bottle and I'm sure your beer will be fine. You should have not told us till the day after we tried it.

Fantastic beer. I was surprised at how smooth it was. Could use a touch more of the smoked malt. I think I may have to replicate this.

Great beer Jonathan, very easy drinking with nice flavors and balance. Got that nice hint of peat as the beer warmed up. :cheers3:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

My Dad likes it. I do too. Fruity esters and some smoke on the nose. Nice roast flavours with a balanced amount of smoke. Good job Jonathan!

I slacked for a couple of days but am drinking this now. As others have mentioned it's a solid beer. Mostly got the smokiness on the nose along with some esters. Well-made and enjoyable. Thanks!

I can't pick up the smokiness but really enjoyed this beer. If you had said it was all grain I would have believed you. I've only done a few extract batches in the past and wish I could make them taste like this. Must be the full wort boil or late extract additions. No home brew twang here. Thanks for the large bottle and excellent carbonation. Really enjoyed this.
