11lbs Marris Otter
1lb Crystal 30
14oz Carafa III
10oz Crystal 120
2oz Centennial (60 min)
1oz Centennial (40 min)
1oz Amarillo (20 min)
1oz Amarillo (5 min)
1oz Amarillo Dry Hopped

What's wrong with this recipe, because as the title says, I don't know what I am doing.
I'm going for a dark IPA, something "somewhat" like Tims Black IPA.
Help please...

Looks fine. Ya gotta start somewhere. MO & Crystal in an IPA, carafa for color to make it black - sounds about right

What's wrong with this recipe,

I can't see that recipe being awful.

ps, I find percentages more helpful than lbs when looking at recipes.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

That's an awful lot of crystal malt, more 1/2 or 3/4 of a pound would be in line. Other than that, it looks fine to me.
