Damn Dave, this one was good! I split it with my brother last night, who was helping me bottle up a batch of my own IPA. I liked the classic cascade hops, I forgot how good they are, I'm glad I got some on the NCM order.

Would have liked a little more carbonation on mine, but extremely tasty, especially the hopping. Just enough rye on the back end to make it interesting.

Ahh crap, I just drank my bottle and my backup bottle and they were both flat. I actually bottled a few and have been trying them over the past week. The first was fully carbed but not the last. Well, that's the last time I use the flip-tops! Although i did just receive replacement gaskets to sell at the shop, perhaps I'll take a bag for my self.

Sorry guys!

It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Very fine IPA!

Caramel and pepper flavours finished of with a robust hop bitterness. Really liked the citrussy hop aroma!

Thanks Dave!

Lots of caramel / sweet malt character in this one. The grapefruity hops are definitely in there, but not overpowereing. The bittering was spot on. This beer is very well balanced. Well made!

Loved the fresh hop aroma. The cascade goes really well with the rye. Medium to low carb but definitely not flat. Nice amount of caramel to balance but still let the rye and hops shine.

Thanks Dave.

This was tasty - thanks! I should really take notes or post when I'm drinking it.
