Picked up the yeasts today at lunch, great customer service. A highly recommended vendor.

Are you guys doing starters with these....for say, a 5g - 1.055? I know what the vial says, but looking for first hand experience.

If it was really fresh, I would do it with a big O2 hit to the wort. Otherwise, i'd make a small starter.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
