It's from the nettle as far as I know.

Interesting if it is. I remember Titus saying with conviction that he would never make green beer for St. Patrick's because you couldn't do it naturally.

Not sure. Might be a European plant.

I see that singing nettle is in the Dutch man's gouda at the market - wonder where he gets it?

Just had this beer tonight, from what I know about Fantome, Dany wouldn't use artificial colouring, no matter what. This is a Green Tea Saison, though there might be additional spices in there for the colour.

Interesting. Matcha might bring that color. Been thinking about a Matcha beer myself...

The real question is how does it taste?! I have to imagine its possible to make a beer green naturally, it's just a question of how it would taste.

Taproot farms has Nettles as part of their CSA offerings. We had no clue what to do with them. My guess is their cultivated, but could be wild.

I'm pretty sure nettles do grow wild in the Atlantic provinces, though I'm not 100% sure about NS. I have a book about edible wild plants in the region and nettles are definitely in there!

Stinging nettles grow everywhere in England and they give you a nasty sting. I can spot them a mile away because of that. I have never seen any in NS during the 15 years I have been here.
My wife got some from a farm market around here and put them in a breakfast smoothie. I was horrified, but still drank it. It was quite green.
