Does anybody know anything about this? The website is a little short on details. It doesn't say if it's BJCP sanctioned, what the entry fee is, how much they'll need, there's no rules listed, etc. It does say that it's open to homebrewers though.

Didn't see a lot of rules posted. Considering entering for the "fun to brew" aspect.

I'm gonna make a maple Lager, Fermented inside a birch tree with, Great Lakes water, spruce tips, poutine, aged on smoked caribou antler tips, use burning rocks to caramelize the wort using pieces of the highest summit in the Rockies then I'll half it with a double double from Tim Hortons.

Once the beers fermented and bottled I'll use it to spread peace around the world, reconciliate with the First Nations community, and once I win all proceeds will be donated to Syrian migrants.

Oh yeah, I signed up too, just so I could ask for more information. I never got it, so we'll see what happens.

I've chatted with Aaron from Propeller about it. Pretty sure it's not BJCP, beers won't be judged till mid July, so you've got a bit of time to put one down.
And yes, your toque-infused beer may win! Maybe not the taste competition, but the "iconic use of Canadian ingredients".
