I'm flattered. How did it turn out anyway?
Damned tasty! I subbed cascade for the citra & then dry hopped with amarillo.
Good to see it was useful. Thanks.
I have a cascade APA on tap right now and am trying to get the keg to blow, so I can tap one of two different APA's I have waiting.
I have a Amarillo/Citra/cascade one and a Chinook/cascade one to replace it with and both are so good I'm having dificulty in deciding
which should go first. I'll probably go with the Chinook one for a more pronounced difference.

Box was sent this morning. 6 entries from 4 brewers.
The total cost was $28.44, for $7/each.
Here's the Canada Post tracking number (couldn't figure out how to link to it directly): 0044296000282322
It should be there Friday. The comp isn't until mid September, so we've got a few weeks to wait for results/score sheets, which should be emailed to us.

Right, except it didn't have it pre-filled in, which is what I was really hoping for.
Thanks, though!

Well Damn! I just got home & saw the results in my inbox
Congrats Tim, Sean & Kyle. A big thanks to TonyL for the APA recipe (even if I didn't use the citra hops).

Hey you're welcome. I was just up to a buddys place and he had my recipe on tap. Hell, he makes it better that I do, so there's no
reason you shouldn't also. ( and it looks like you did, lol )
Congrats again.

Brewnosers got four of 72 medals (unless I missed someone). That's almost 6%. Not bad.
I'll try to save one of the few remaining saisons for the next meeting. Tim, do you have any dubbel left?
Andy, are you selling the Townshend Brewery with the house?

I don't want to jinx anything - the interested party still has to sell their house (or somebody else has to come along and buy with no conditions), but highly doubtful. I am currently in negotiations to sell all my brew gear, ingredients and hire out my skills to an interested party on Tyndal Road. The working name is "Sunrise Brewing" but that could still change.

I'm going to have to step up my game, if the competition leaves the North side Scoundrel Brewing is going to be all that's left in this end of town.

Congrats to my fellow winners.
Sadly, my own saison was done right before moving out of the province, and I only managed to sample one bottle. Now where did I put that recipe......

Way to go guys. That'll teach those hogtown folk that Keith's is not Nova Scotia beer.
Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

I hope next year we can make a dent in the IPA/IIPA category. Given the difficulty finding a hoppy commercial brew in ON, we should own this category. Though it could be 'Necessity is the Motherhood of Invention' and I don't know where the winners are actually from.

That's me! My Belgian dubbel won gold! I entered four beers and that's definitely not the one I expected to win anything, but I'll take it!
