"Unfortunately, your entry was not chosen in the top four finalists however we truly thank you for participating and hope you'll join us for the big night!"
Judges must've sucked.

Do we know if we can buy tickets at the door this year? In previous years they were $5.

I'm sure anyone is welcome to drop by. I have no idea on the cost, but every one that entered gets 2 tickets to the gala - surely there is someone here that isn't using their other ticket...

For some reason I didn't get an e-mail from Garrison... I'll e-mail them to check out what happened, I guess.
Does the gala start at 7:00? Details seem sparse on their website.

Gala starts at 7
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

What's Halifax weather doing tomorrow night, hoping the roads are good for the drive from the Valley after work tomorrow night. If the roads are good, should be there around 7:30, if the roads are bad , won't be making the trip at all.
Hope to see everyone tomorrow night.

Nobody is sure what the weather will be like tomorrow at this point, keep an eye on it. Hopefully you can make it to claim your prize

Good luck.

Anyone grabbing a bite before the Gala? I'm pretty sure I am going to head to RB for a bite after work.
