I have one of these. Works well but for hoppy beer you definitely need to filter your hops.

Thanks guys! I got one last night. I was going to buy a coil to make a new CFC, but I had OBK gift money left and this seemed like a good idea.

I've had one for a while I like it, but like Derek said you need to filter the hops, easy enough with sock hop tho

I have a "hop hopper" that I made out of PVC and a dollar store brass coat hook that will alleviate that concern

It was a good deal. I've never used a plate chiller, but at $49 it's worth it just to try it out.

Came in today. It's a hefty little bugger
