Some of you have noticed already. But we brought back Flat rate shipping for another trial run on the East coast.

Is the trial over? Just about to place another order and I see that flat rate to new brunswick is not an option anymore...

Re: Flat rate shipping
Still there. Chances are you are not meeting the criteria or loaded up on weight and it is cancelled out. We made some changes to discourage large grain orders that ship for a loss. Always bulk buys if need massive amounts of grain.

Not sure what the criteria is...I'm trying to order 2 OBK all grain kits and the lowest shipping option is $20.60. I previously ordered 2 OBK all grain kits on April 4th, 2013 and the shipping was $11.99. Shipping to postal code E1G 5J3, Moncton NB.OntarioBeerkegs wrote:Still there. Re: Flat rate shipping
I just bought 20 pounds of grain, 2 pounds of candi syrup, 3 pounds of malt extract, and a bunch of other misc. items (including a draft tower). Shipping was $11.99 and it arrived within 3-4 days.

Every time I try to order (at least 2 all grain kits and hydrometer beaker), it comes up at $20. Adding more kits, and the shipping goes up by about $7/kit.

Re: Flat rate shipping
Flat rate shipping is still Live to New Brunswick. This is a value added option we are happy to offer. It does however have limitations so we do not lose our shirt. The last time the settings were changed was in March 2013. Min purchase $50 and max weight 19.
Our pricing model is arguably the best in Canada and the shipping is already at a discount to posted rates at Canada Post. Flat rate is just another bonus if qualify.
