Propeller Brewing Company is proud to offer this limited release Imperial Red Ale. A classic West Coast-style imperial red ale brewed with the finest crystal and chocolate malts and premium Pacific Northwest hops. The colour is dark amber with red hues and the aroma has hoppy citrus notes with moderate malt accents. The taste is smooth and malty with sweet toffee and toasted nut flavour, balanced with an ample citrus and pine hop finish that includes hints of sweet caramel. IBU's 75 ABV. 8.1%
Propeller Imperial Red Ale is available starting today exclusively in growlers at the brewery’s Prop Shop retail store while supplies last.
About the One Hit Wonder Limited Release Series: On the first of each month beginning February Propeller Brewing Company will release a unique one off brew. One Hit Wonder’s are only available in the popular Growler format at the Propeller retail store known locally as “The Prop Shop”, 2015 Gottingen St. Halifax Nova Scotia. The brewery will continue this limited release series until the busy summer season begins.
