Looking for input on whether brass fittings in the beer line of my keg will last or affect the taste.
Thanks

Re: Brass connections and fillings
i used to have brass fittings in my kettles but replaced them with stainless steel. before i used them i put them in the oven for 1/2hr to oxidiz the fittings. I never had any off flavors that i can remember but replaced them with stainless, just for the simple fact stainless is better. perhaps over time the lower Ph may remove the oxidized layer depending on what you use to clean it with but you should be fine using brass, but for a few extra bucks i would go with stainless steel. You're not saving any money if you decide to change them out like i did just for that piece of mind
