Learn to Brew Day - October

Post by Keith » Fri Aug 01, 2014 9:29 am

I've received a lot of interest from people about brewing and have many who want to sit in on a brew day. To take advantage of the temperatures I'm planning on hosting a "how to brew session" at my place in October. The issue is I expect a lot of interest and could use some support to show off different options for brewing. I'd honestly like to showcase the following styles, but don't have the equipment (or hands)to do all at the same time plus explain everything. Is anyone interested in pairing up with me on this?
  • All Grain
    Partial Grain
    Extract
    Brewhouse or Festabrew
If we could Chris can we have some Brewnosers swag available for sale, and would any vendors or brewery's like to be present to possibly showcase their products?

Anyways, it's still early and in the works, but would be a great opportunity to recruit a few new people to the craft.

If Dave wants to host it (potentially make some sales), I'd be willing to bring my gear out and brew for a day. :cheers2:

We've still got lots of stickers and glasses available, so I can bring those if folks want to purchase them. And depending on the date, I may be able to participate in brewing (more than just looking pretty). I had approached the NG folks about it a couple of times, but was always told they'd get back to me, with predictable results.
