pH testing: digital vs. strips vs. theoretical
Wondering what people are using/would ideally be using. I mostly just calculate the theoretical pH based on a recent water report and my grain bill. I have also occasionally borrowed a ph meter from my girlfriend's tool kit. Since I just got a new job, I am going to spoil myself in a few new unnec. toys this fall. Weighing the pros and cons of purchasing my own digital tester. The Hannah Instruments red hand held seems popular (tinyurl.com/k9ot22z). Anyone have thoughts, gripes, recommendations? Money better spent on other luxuries?

I might be able to find a good meter for you if you can wait a week.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
