commercial keg return

Post by elreplica » Fri Aug 02, 2013 11:14 am

Greetings,

I inherited a 50 l Labatts (Keiths) keg when I bought my commercial kegerator. I have the Sanke connector and will be converting it to Cornelius in the near future. Alas, the full (100 lb) C02 bottle was too large to take with me so I let it go and need to find a 10-20 lb one, if anyone has I might be interested. My main question is, where do I return the keg, and what might I expect to get back to put towards my new gas bottle? Thanks in advance for any assistance/ advice.
At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

if its like it is in Ontario, no receipt, no refund. Might be better off simply selling it as a keg or keggle

IIRC, Molson wouldn't take them. I know it says labatt's in the op, but 50l are likely molson. Worth $30 afaiac.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

If it's in good shape, I'll take it off your hands for $30.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I checked again and its the more desireable 58.6 litre keg...
