First pour from first AG!
First pour from the keg at my first attempt at AG. Despite not having a clue what I'm doing, I hit final gravity within 0.01, beersmith numbers were almost dead on, and its tasty! Next time I'll use whirlfloc which i forgot to add, but I'm pretty psyched to start the next one.

Re: First pour from first AG!
NG 1820 IPA Tastes like similar to a Sam Adams. I added an additional 700g 2row, because their recipe assumed extract efficiency and OG would have been off. I wanted a gentle introduction
I'm waiting on temperature controller for fermentation fridge and then I'm going to start with the lawnmower beer and work my way through the styles.
My favorite beer on the planet is leffe. I have the recipe but want to get a couple more under my belt first.
I'm already thinking hard about an electric brewery setup!!
Jonathan@NG has been extremely helpful with all of this and walked me through BeerSmith. Thanks!!
This is fun!

Congratulations!
I think an electric brewery might be a good idea and I know lots of people have them. A post here, cautions against getting too carried away though with what the poster calls “bling”. Written by “PistolPatch” an Australian BIAB pioneer and BIAB expert. Not sure which mashing technique you are using, but PP's simplistic philosophy is also a cheap one that can be applied to home brewing in general.
Thanks for sharing the fun.

Maybe a glass left. You may have to arm wrestle Lynn for it.sleepyjamie wrote:awesome. beer sure to try out perrins Cream Ale i dropped off to him.
I will however take a glass of this some evening
