Just racked my fourth batch to secondary. Used my new auto siphon (Father's Day gift). FYI, you are all on my *$!# list for not telling me about auto siphons sooner. Except the guy in the NG who told my wife they are "the cat's ass". I owe you one.

Probably the single best piece of equipment I've ever purchased. Enjoy.

You should try a 1/2" auto-siphon. It's the cat's ass on steroids!

The problem with suckin' on a tube is that I invariably end up with some of it on the floor, instead of in my mouth...

Interestingly, a "guy in NG" (New Glasgow, that is) gave me his because he never used it. I love it.

I use mine quite a bit, however, the last few brews, I just put a racking cane into the plastic thingy with the two openings and placed it on the carboy. A quick puff into one of the holes and bob's your uncle.

See how cleaver I was and didn't say blow in the hole

Whats a good place to find 7/16" ID tubing? This is apparently the correct tubing to use with the 1/2" auto siphon, not 1/2" ID which bubbles, and stops working if you don't press on the tube to keep it going)
