Replacement front panel for kegerator

Post by Henry1 » Sun Jun 23, 2013 1:22 pm

What do you guys like to use as replacements for the front panel of your kegerator? I've seen fiberglass reinforced panel as a suggestion but a 4x8 sheet is $56 from Home Depot.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I used a piece of white plastic that they use on the florescent ceiling lights. You can write on it with whiteboard markers.

I used a clear piece of lexan. Others have used thin aluminum.

The gasket is about 18" by 30.5". We just picked it up off Kijiji this morning and I haven't taken the panel off of it yet, but I assume that it's about the same size.

Right. I figured that sort of thing would be sold in a big pack for a builder. I'll keep an eye out for them when I pick up the parts to hook up the STC-1000.
