No Citra?

Post by Tony L » Fri Jun 21, 2013 6:08 pm

Who the hell is using all the Citra? Went on-line to order some along with Centennial and no Citra to be found and very little Centennial.

I managed to get a pound each ordered through Brewery Lane, but will pay through the nose for it. Fuck it, it's worth it I guess.

You get the Kewpie Doll.

I'm in love, and Citra is her name.

I hear you. I bottled my brew and am hoarding the lot for myself taking out a bottle a night for my enjoyment. I do have a nice APA ready to keg, but it isn't Citra :(

On the upside, I did score enough hops to make another brew later this week. That should last me until I get the couple of pounds I have ordered. I know what I will be ordering when the new harvest comes our way.

I've got a few lbs left but then it's gone for the year. (EDIT: I just checked my inventory and I have 1 lb left, but it'll probably be gone by the end of the weekend)

Right now the following hops are sold out completely until next year:

Citra
Simcoe
Centennial
Amarillo

And a couple more I can't remember off of the top of my head.

That hop shortage they were talking about last year has come to fruition and this is the fall out.

Dave

Is there one pound of citra left or none? If there's one I'll grab it tomorrow assuming nobody set that up with you already

I would also like to get a Bavarian Weizen Ale Yeast (WLP351) vial from you. I tried to put it through the website, but it's still not letting me go past shipping.
