I could be wrong (and I don't want this option anyhow), but isn't the typical 'english style pub glass' others described in the other thread more like this one below?

Yep, or the straight side thicker glass most brew pubs use.

you mean a shaker? http://www.craftbeer.com/glassware/american-shaker-pint" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Whatever they're called, I prefer option 2. I've got enough of the 'English Style Pub' glass as it is.

I'm not going to vote because I can't guarantee a purchase, but I'd love some Belgian's.

Anyone have an extra of the old style they could part with? Mine met with an unfortunate accident.... I really liked the glass. I am also interested in a new style as well, pub style was my vote

I'm getting pricing on these styles. If there's enough interest we can consider one of these and the belgian style. The pub glass minimums orders are only 72 I believe through the local supplier where the stemmed styles are 144 min out of Ontario.

I'd take 4 of those as well. Possible 8 if the price is right.

right on! I will say this style is my everyday go-to glass. Good size and you don't have to worry about careful handling, especially after a few. :spilly:

I'm not a fan of the shaker glass, but mostly because I prefer holding a stemmed glass.
