Noob Needing Advice :)

Hey everyone,

I just put my second batch of beer down last night.
It was a Mangorve Jack's Blonde. Instead of using all Dextrose I decided to use half dextrose and half LME.

I used 650g dextrose and 500g of LME. Everything was stirred well and my OG was 1.032.
Reading was taken at 22C

I have been thinking about it and starting to worred the the OG was too low ??
It is too late to add more LME or sugar so the beer doesnt turn out with too low of an alcohol content ?

I am a complete noob when it comes to brewing !
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm not much of an extract brewer but I have added Dme and/or sugar to brews post fermentation for various reasons. Just mix with a small amount of water and boil to sanitize, then add it to your fermenter. Watch out though, it will spark another vigorous fermentation. Good luck!

It would be best to add it if fermentation is still active, lots of recipes call for sugar additions at the height of fermentation.

Also if you do add the stuff, make sure it is mixed well after you add it (but without adding in a bunch of oxygen) - not really sure how to accomplish this, mind you. Sanitized spoon maybe

It will be low ABV, but just enjoy it and plan for better next time.
