So I transferred a brew to secondary on Monday, I planned on doing a brew late next week using washed yeast from my primary. I was an idiot and the primary got knocked over so yeast cake is gone before I could save it.
Would it be a good idea to wash or pitch on top of the yeast cake from secondary? I didn't add any dry hops or anything to the secondary, just nor sure if the yeast quality from secondary would be worth using again.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
