I've got a keg of american session ale ready to go and I can't get the beer out of it. There was a hop bag in there and i took it out, no beer. I tried blowing out the dip tube with CO2, no beer. I took out the dip tube and cleaned it, no beer. I replaced the dip tube, no beer. I switched between serving lines, no beer. It's not frozen. Gas goes in fine. :smackhead: Any ideas?

Try leaning it and run the gas in the liquid connection and the beer out the gas post.

1) When you blew out the dip tube with CO2, was that just gas in the out side?

2) Could there be a problem with your beer-out ball lock fitting or tap?

Well I narrowed it down to the post I believe. I didn't think it was the post because when I depressed it it shot beer out but then I replaced it with another and it's working better, not great but better. I believe there is also a lot of hop debris in there cause some hell as well.

This has happened to me before. Hops kept getting all up in the post spring. I would purge with CO2 but there was so much hop debris on the bottom of the keg that it would clog up again almost immediately. I picked them out of the post a few times and it just kept happening. I ended up zip-tying some cheese cloth over the end of the dip tube. To do that, you obviously have to reach inside the keg once the tube is in. The beer poured slower but at least it flowed.

Yeah it is a pain in th ass for now but it's flowing a bit so I'll survive. I must have got a hole in my dry hop bag somehow.

Does your connector have the little push down thing. I have some where they are plastic and could break.

I used to get the poppet plugging with my watermelon wheat, and the lime coconut wheat plugged with zest.
